PVS Chemicals Acquires DX/DPC

PVS Chemicals of Detroit Michigan has acquired the stock of Houston based DX Holding Company Inc. (DX/DPC).

Consistent with PVS’s management of its other businesses, the company intends to manage DX/DPC as a stand-alone independent subsidiary. Going forward, under PVS ownership, customers and vendors can expect the same consistent service that DX/DPC is well known for. As of June 1st, Kurt Filer, a longtime DX/DPC employee and the current General Manager will take over as DX/DPC’s President.

DX/DPC Chairman Reed Morian states, “We are incredibly proud of the hardworking men and women who have made DX/DPC a successful business for seventy-seven years. I think the opportunity for the combined companies is enormous.

PVS President and CEO David Nicholson states, “PVS and DX/DPC leaders see the potential these two companies will create together. Both companies produce related products and together, our combined efforts will create a larger footprint across the U.S.”
